Another legendary actor has passed away. Roger Lloyd Pack, aged 69, was probably best remembered for his roles in Only Fools and Horses and Vicar of Dibley. He lost his battle with pancreatic cancer yesterday.
His role as Owen Newitt the farmer who loved sheep a bit too much was probably one of his best roles. I know that as an audience we should not get too bogged down every time an actor dies – they’re just people, after all. But it is still incredibly thought-provoking. No other actor can make jokes about sheep with a straight face. RIP, old chap.
