I’d always wanted to watch this film, because of its post-apocalyptic setting which is usually done rather well.
Viggo Mortensen shines in this film as the Man who must protect his son (Kodi Smit-McPhee) from from danger in post-apocalyptic America. I didn’t expect this movie to move me emotionally as much as it did. After the movie ended, I felt very bereft without truly knowing what I’d lost.
A superb movie which is worth a watch if you haven’t seen it yet. It’s really awe-inspiring and unsettling at the same time.
