In finally getting round to watching this movie, I wasn’t really sure what to expect. The basic storyline is all about a young investment banker, Eric, who takes a journey in his limo so he can go and get a haircut.
Robert Pattison is not exactly known for his depth of character in his films. He looks constipated 50% of the time, and the other 50% of the time he looked as if he didn’t want to be there. I didn’t really care about his character, or any of the other characters either. Paul Giamatti spent all of his screen time with a towel on his head. So there’s that.
The ramblings of the characters were probably supposed to stand for something logical but the whole script itself sounded like it was penned by a rambling drunk person. I couldn’t feel any empathy for any of the characters.
I wish there was something positive I could say about this movie. There just isn’t anything positive to say at all.
MY RATING: * / *****
