‘The Prodigal Father,’
Porthos finds out who his father is but discovers some harsh truths about his family at the same time, forcing him to decide where his loyalty lie. Constance is grieving following the death of her husband, but it takes words of advice from the Queen to help her decide where her path lies.
There was plenty of bang, flash and wallop which inevitably fills out the hour long runtime of the episodes. I didn’t really care about Porthos’s paternity discovery but the twist was interesting. The conversation between the Queen and Constance was interesting because it shows that they both want what they can’t have, and they are equals despite their difference in class status.
A good episode over all. Two episodes left until the series is over.
