This series is just delectable!
Poldark and Demelza become parents to a daughter, Julia. Demelza encourages reconciliation between Verity and Blamey.
Poldark is proving to be a great series so far. It is a nice bit of escapism in a gorgeous Cornish setting. The actors are all amazing. They bring something different to the roles they play. This results in people actually caring about the characters and what happens to them.
I feel that waxing lyrical about the series over and over will just get repetitive. Its a series which is obviously very good because its intelligent and makes you think. There is a distinct lack of such dramas these days. People may say that the 1970s version is good, but comparing two versions (40 years apart) is somewhat futile because both versions just show what can be done with the production standards of the time.
