Australian film about a father, on the run from the law, travelling across Australia with his son. Starring Hugo Weaving.
The Private Affairs of Bel Ami (1947)
This is an adaptation of the de Maupassant novel, about the roguish Georges du Roi and his indifferent use of women in Parisian society. Starring George Sanders and a young Angela Lansbury.
Flags of our Fathers (2006)
A bit of a different film today. A Clint Eastwood directed film about the lives of the men depicted in the famous photograph of the soldiers raising the American flag during the battle of Iwo Jima.
