This is a 2012 film about a retirement home for elderly former musicians. The home faces closure, and there is to be a concert to raise money to ensure the Home stays open. With the arrival of former opera singer, Jean (Maggie Smith) there are tensions. Will the concert go ahead?

The Woman in Black.

A horror film set in late 19th century England about a young lawyer, Arthur Kipps, who comes to a remote village to settle a dead woman’s affairs only to discover the ghost of a scorned woman who is seeking vengeance on those who took her son from her years before.

Saving Mr Banks

This is a 2013 biopic about P.M Travers, the author of Mary Poppins, during the book’s development into the iconic 1964 film. This film stars Emma Thompson, Colin Farrell and Tom Hanks (and others).

The Crimson Field Episode 3.

This episode (out of six, I think) had me thinking whether or not it was descending into soapy territory. Obviously not. Spoiler explosion alert.

Rev Series 3 Episode 5.

With one more episode left in the series, this has made a clean finish and could end admirably.

The Fault in Our Stars (2014).
